Starting one

A press on a name — in the people list, on a message, in a room's members — opens that person's menu; Message privately opens the thread, or /dm name from the box. Where the server runs in Friends mode, the people you can message are the ones on your list.

What the thread shows

Whether they are here, and — where the operator has the switch on — when they were last seen. Their profile card, from the menu, carries their display name, their handle to copy, and, on Yeetline's own server, a link to their public page.

Quiet

Mute a thread from its menu for an hour, eight hours, a day, a week or for good; a muted thread neither notifies nor sounds. Block, from the same menu, stops their messages reaching you at all and takes you out of their people list.

Rooms

Rooms sit above the direct messages in the rail. A room's header line says how many members it has and how many are online, and opens the members list; the owner, a moderator or an admin renames it from its settings.
